Note that the following list is only a sampling of departmental visiting scholar programs on campus. Not all departments have a formal website dedicated to visiting scholars.
All interested visiting student researchers should reach out directly to their desired host faculty sponsor to gain approval. You should contact a faculty member with similar research interests. If you do not already know which faculty member you would like to work with, you can search our Faculty Expertise Database.
Individuals with questions about becoming a visiting scholar should consult the Visiting Scholars and Postdoc Affairs (VSPA) office at vspa@berkeley.edu.
