Monthly discussion series on international topics relevant to the work that we do
The Berkeley International Group (BIG) is composed of UC Berkeley faculty and staff who are invited to meet monthly to collaborate and participate in informal discussions related to the international work across UC Berkeley. The group meets for one hour during the first week of every month, with the host(s) deciding upon the topic, date, time, and location of the meeting. Each meeting is hosted by a different unit on campus.
If you would like to host a future BIG meeting or have a suggested topic, please email Ashley Spinelli at email@example.com.
Join us for the next BIG meeting on March 6th from 1:30-2:30pm at Stephens Hall #442, hosted by Berkeley Study Abroad
Learn about Berkeley's first undergraduate dual degree program with Sciences Po. This session will discuss what it took to make the partnership successful, challenges faced, and how this program benefits both the UC Berkeley campus as a whole and the students that graduate from the program. In addition, other dual-degree initiatives and future programs will be discussed.
The BIG meetings are excellent opportunities to learn about the inspiring international work being done by the UC Berkeley community, and to strengthen and also start collaborations in support of that work.Eddie West, Assistant Dean & Executive Director, International Programs, UC Extension
